Success at the NoGi British Open

Toby Colling and Andy Cole made the long trip to Warwick University to compete at the NoGi British Open. With matches scheduled at opposite ends of the day, both athletes travelled down separately

Toby, competed first thing in the morning, demonstrating his growing competition experience by taking gold in impressive fashion. Despite facing a much bigger opponent in the final, Toby’s skill, composure, and technique carried him to victory.

Andy, stepping into one of his first major competitions, gained a bronze medal. He fought hard against an experienced competitor, locking up a kimura, only to be reset and going on to narrowly lose by just one point.

Congratulations to both Toby and Andy for stepping up, giving it their all, and bringing home medals. The hard work continues on the mats
